The bush views and quiet private deck made this such a peaceful place to unwind. I stayed in the one-bedroom apartment, with a very comfy queen bed and a sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen had everything, even baking gear, and the shower had great pressure. There was a private pool, plus a washing machine, drying rack or outdoor line, washing powder, and pegs. I could easily have spent a whole week just chilling here.

Watching the mist lift as the sun came up from the verandah was unforgettable. This was our last night after nine days touring the North Island, and the accommodation was amazing. We were made to feel very welcome. Thanks, Robert.

The bed was the most comfortable I've had in a motel for years, and I slept really well. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and nicely presented. We enjoyed our staycation in this part of Auckland, right on the edge of the Waitakerie ranges and close to some great places to visit. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and knew the region and local spots well.
