The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. That’s about the only good part. The rooms are cheap but dated, and the staff were unfriendly. I thought I’d booked somewhere with cooking facilities, but apparently I hadn’t. The manager wasn’t helpful, just switched on the unsecured freezer outside. It didn’t freeze anything for 12 hours because he hadn’t put it on fast freeze. The room was noisy early in the morning from lorries taking off, and there’s a train station behind it. There was only a kettle, toaster and microwave in the room. The fridge insulation had gone and it should be condemned. Plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery were supplied. Towels were changed only on the first day. Think twice, unless you’re really desperate.

A very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent, close to everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I’d definitely stay here again.

It’s an older style motel, but the price is lower too. The town centre is only a couple of kilometres away, and the train station is across the road. Trash was cleared daily, and we got clean, dry towels and an empty bag even though we stayed more than one night. The electric blankets were one of my favourite things about the room.

An absolute nightmare. I’d rather sleep outside. Tom Phillips probably had more comfortable accommodation. Drive away from this place faster than mark Lundy. 6/10.

The host was very friendly and the price was low. The room was adequate, though the sheets were probably clean but had some stains. The bathroom was tiny and grubby.
