We got in just before midnight after traffic and awful weather, and the owners had already sent self check-in instructions. They'd even left a little surprise in the fridge, which we really appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and there was a microwave, toaster and fridge. For the price and location, this place was amazing.

The kids were happily occupied on the trampoline and big grassy area. The owners made our short stop feel easy and stress-free, too. We stayed with the family on the way to Wellington, and this was a great little motel. Would absolutely come back.

Just what we needed to rest and sleep while travelling across the North Island and splitting up a long drive. The rooms were simple and clean, with everything needed for that kind of stay.

Right in the village centre, which was handy, and parking was good. The shower was good too. There was a Smart TV, though I couldn't find TVNZ Plus. It had elements and an air fryer, but not many utensils. There was also an extra mattress in the wardrobe.
