The room was clean, there was a nice patio, and parking was available. The staff member at check-in was friendly. I found the spa bath in the middle of the room a bit weird, though I guess it might suit some people. The main problem was that there was no hot water. By the time we realized, reception was closed and nobody answered the emergency phone. After a hot, sweaty day we couldn't shower and had to wash in cold water. A clean place to sleep and a shower are the basics I expect, and half of that wasn't available. We left a note when we checked out in the morning and got a half-hearted apology message that made it seem like they didn't care. It could have been worded very differently, and they could have offered a partial refund for the major inconvenience. We would never stay there again.

After six days on the road, moving between motels and places, it was bliss to relax and unwind here. We could sleep in, shower, then head off, instead of waking up, showering, and rushing to get ready for the next leg of racing or driving a certain number of kilometres. Cottage Mews is lovely, clean, and peaceful. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

A blissful place for a night's stay. I had the Nook, a spacious room with a lovely patio and a studio-style pantry. The lake was only a 50m walk around the corner, and there was ample parking.

The kitchen was well appointed, but sadly the suite was in poor shape. There was peeling wallpaper, mildew or mold, old furniture, and an air freshener smell I didn't like. The heat pump was in bad condition and smelled when it was running.

The location worked perfectly for us with our little dog along. The room was a good size and well maintained.
