Tui Oaks Motel

The weather was awful during our Valentine's Day weekend, with an orange rain warning, so having a sheltered room was a relief. Ours was set back from the road and had glimpses of the lake, which helped with the constant traffic noise along the lakefront. The setting is really picturesque, though it took longer to walk into town than we expected. The room was very clean and tidy from the moment we arrived. Yes, I’d happily come back.

Elise at reception welcomed us warmly and was professional and accommodating. She helped make our vacation plans work with our itinerary. Our room was neat and tidy, had a view, and the bed was comfortable and solid. We even got to watch NRL. I’d very much recommend this place. Thank you!

We were here for our anniversary, and the friendly staff gave us a lovely view and a super clean room. We’d asked politely for a room with a good view and were upgraded. We really appreciated it. You made our day, thank you very much.

The lake view was the one bright spot, with a path along the water just across the road. Otherwise, this is a tired, run-down motel, which is a shame in one of our top tourist spots. I wouldn’t stay here again. Our ground-floor room had a musty smell as soon as we walked in, and we quickly opened the ranch sliders. The place badly needs an upgrade. The carpets, stairs, and lift all looked very worn. The lower-ground security door had been taped open with black tape and wouldn’t close, so anyone from the street could have walked in. The bathroom taps were loose, and so was the headboard on the very basic double bed.
