Cutterscove

We spent nearly two months at Cutterscove Resort while my family and I were relocating from overseas, and it was a special time for us. Esther, Susan, and David were so kind, which made a big difference. The apartment had everything we needed, and the facilities kept the children entertained with tennis, minigolf, and the wonderful pools. After dinner, we enjoyed looking at the stars from the spa pool, and the beach is just across the road. I'd recommend it to everyone.

The beachside location was excellent, and the rooms were very nice. But the pool was absolutely disgusting, with dirt and hair in it, more germs than a Petri dish. The gym was worn out, with old, broken, even rusty equipment. Managers, make sure you have a tetanus shot before going. The managers were unfriendly and unhelpful.

We keep coming back, though it's best to ring ahead if you want one of the better rooms. Some have ocean or pool views, and the balconies are a nice place to sit. The rooms have different decor, and there's underground parking for two cars. I especially like sitting in the spa pool under the stars and listening to the surf. It's a good place to get away from the bustle. There's a shallow lagoon pool and a large heated lap pool, plus a larger, better equipped gym than most places and a sauna. I haven't tried the minigolf, golf driving nets, or tennis court. There's a nice cafe/restaurant nearby, and we often walk along the beach to have coffee at cafés under the Mount.

Lovely apartments, nicely equipped, with views straight out to sea. Wow, what a place.
