The view is great, and the staff are wonderful and keen to help you find work. There are restaurants and the water nearby. The hostel is loudest I've stayed in, sometimes because of staff, not just guests passing through. At $185-200 per person per week, it's quite expensive for a hostel. Internet doesn't reach the rooms, the kitchen is always busy, and the girls' bathroom was quite dirty compared with other places I've stayed. The rooms were cleanish.

It's in a great location, with a really lovely view of the water and banks, restaurants and stores nearby. I didn't go to a grocery store, so I'm not sure how close one is. The hostel is very busy and mostly filled with people who work in the area, so it feels social, but many have been staying together for a while and it's hard to get to know people if you're just passing through. The kitchen was messy and dirty enough that I didn't feel like cooking. The dorms were okay, but crowded when full, with little room for your stuff. The metal bed frames made noise whenever anyone moved.

Harbourside felt like a second home, and I'll definitely come back someday. The staff were lovely, and I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. My six-bed female dorm was spacious, with plenty of room and a very comfy bed, which I need! There's a huge second-floor balcony where it's easy to meet other travelers and share stories. The kitchen is big, there's free WiFi and bikes to rent for free, and you're right among the bars, pubs and restaurants. Thanks to everyone at Harbourside for making my stay memorable. I'll be back!

The beds and pillows are so comfortable, I had the best sleep I've ever had in a hostel. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean, and the staff are helpful and know the area well. The balcony has amazing harbour views, and the location couldn't be better. Highly recommended!

It's a very clean hostel with a lovely sea-view balcony and comfortable beds. Our long-termer room was quiet enough for a good sleep and had a locker and our own sink. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Hostel life can't get better than this.
