The room stayed comfortable without the aircon, which we didn't need thanks to the lovely cool weather and waterfront breeze. It was clean and spacious, with a two-seater couch and kitchenette. There were enough cooking utensils for a couple of days, good water pressure, and a heated towel rail in the bathroom.

The lake is right across the road, and the city centre is only a five-minute walk away, so getting around was easy. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Cooking smells did hang around for a while because of the exhaust, but otherwise we had a very pleasant stay in a great location.

The location was great, but the stay was a mixed bag. I'd booked two nights through booking.com, yet after the first night we had to move to another room, which wasn't great either. Neither room had air conditioning or a ceiling fan, so things felt a bit stuffy. I asked for a pedestal fan on the second day, and the owner kindly brought one, which I appreciated. On our last morning there was no hot water running at all. When I told the woman working at the time, she didn't apologise, seemed uninterested, and didn't want to help.

The apartment was modern, clean, nicely furnished, and better equipped than we'd expected. The only change I'd ask for is a softer mattress, since the beds were a little hard. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The balcony had a beautiful view, and we had a great two-day stay at Lakeside Motel. Our room was large, very clean, and had a kitchen and bathroom. Laundry was easy and efficient to use, with two washers and two dryers, and there was plenty of parking.
