My double room turned out to be larger than I expected, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained, and it stayed quiet even with all the rooms full. There was only one shower, which was a small downside, but not a big issue. It's just a few minutes' walk to town and good value for the price.

Cute, intimate place with a bit of history. It's got what you need to feel at home and comfortable, it's affordable too. Just a short walk from all the beauty and 'lovely' delights Te Aroha has to offer.

My husband and I stayed at the Nunnery for the first time and had an awesome stay. We had the double bed room, with a separate shower and toilets, plus a guest lounge and kitchen. Help yourselves to tea and coffee, and there's a microwave for heating your own food. Thanks to the owners. We'll be back. Steve and Elizabeth Fleming from Papakura Auckland
