Ginny made both of our stays feel so welcoming, and we were even given the newly furnished deluxe queen room despite booking a basic double. The building has loads of character, the decor is lovely, and the price felt like seriously good value. I’ve never felt more at home. It’d suit students, couples, families, or people just passing through. Free WiFi, too. We’d happily recommend it.

A short walk gets you to the shops, restaurants, beach and aviary sanctuary, which made the location a real plus. The room was on the small side, but comfortable, very clean, and wheelchair accessible. The owner-manager was so friendly, and I still remember how often she’d say “wee bit”! Breakfast was fairly basic, just toast, jam and cereal, though the accommodation and location made up for that.

We found this place by chance and were lucky we did. The rooms were spacious and warm, the beds comfortable, and we got a friendly welcome when we arrived. A humble little traveller’s paradise. I’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was included and there was free WiFi, with a great location too. What really made the stay, though, was how friendly Ginny and the staff were and how easy it was to relax there. The comfortable atmosphere felt like home away from home. We came across the place by accident and loved it, so we’ll be back.
