We’ve been back several times over the past six months, and I’m only getting around to writing this now. The budget rooms have access to lovely hot pools at any hour, and breakfast was just right. The owners are friendly too. Wi-Fi can be unreliable in the budget rooms, though it worked fine in the dining area, and it may have been upgraded since. A Thai massage in turangi followed by a soak is a nice combination.

The old style of the place gives it a homely feel, and the thermal pools are a big part of the appeal. I like the warmer pool and the smaller, hotter one, and being able to use them at 5am is handy when you're awake with nothing else to do. This was my second stay with my caravan. The owners are really friendly, it's just outside Turangi, and the price is excellent.

The setting between two beautiful mountains, with a farm and horses, sheep and other animals nearby, made this a lovely place to stay. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the service was great. The AC wasn't working at first, but a staff member fixed it. For the price, the rooms, service and location were all worth it. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

I slept in my car here last night and had a lovely stay. For $25, I got a powered campsite, use of the hot pools any time of day or night, and all the usual amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, and all those animals around were a nice extra. I usually use freedom camping spots, so this felt like a bit of luxury for a reasonable price. They also let me have a guest for a casual hourly rate. I really can't complain, and don't understand why others did. I'd definitely come back.

The AC was the highlight, and it was definitely needed. The rooms and facilities were clean and tidy, but they still had a budget feel. Overall, I was disappointed. The place is tired and overdue for a revamp.
