It was so quiet here, apart from the More Porks whooing across the garden. The host and manager, Miranda, is outstanding. We loved our stay, especially the super comfy bed and pillows, soft sheets, and the good hot water and shower pressure. We’ll stay again!

The quiet setting and charming feel made the room a comfortable place to unwind, and it was clean, well equipped, and cosy. I felt welcomed and looked after from the moment I arrived at Wallaceville House Motor Lodge. The staff were thoughtful and attentive, taking care of every detail throughout my stay. Thanks to the whole team for making it such a warm, hospitable stay. I’d highly recommend Wallaceville House Motor Lodge to anyone after somewhere comfortable and memorable.

The rooms are large, and the gardens and trees make the lovely venue feel very quiet. It was my first stay. The only snag was that I couldn’t get the TV remotes working. I had a good book with me, so I used the chance to read and relax without the TV.

The service staff were excellent, and I appreciate them understanding my work. But don’t count on the WiFi, it’s absolutely terrible. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear the person next door on the toilet. First thing in the morning, the owner was shouting at staff outside the rooms where everyone could hear. It was embarrassing and not good. I’m not sure how the owner can justify the nightly price.

Rainbow, the owner-operator, was a delight to deal with, warm and very helpful. The setting was beautiful, and the room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities. The cooked breakfast was lovely and very fairly priced. One small suggestion: it’d be great to have a mini cardboard milk carton instead of all those little plastic containers. Much more sustainable!
