Meeting Monique and Steve made my second trip to Auckland so much better than the first. I stayed here some time ago, but the visit, the place, and the owners have stayed with me. I hope you’re both doing well if you happen to read this.

Two weeks before an Auckland artist was meant to colour in my extensive tattoo, she cancelled. Monique and Stevie stepped in when I was stuck, and Monique did an amazing job. I’m so happy with the work, I can’t say enough. Thanks again to you both.

The North Island views were superb, with lush green scenery all around. My room was clean, bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with little extras. The meals were excellent, combining European and traditional New Zealand food. The hosts are internationally renowned artists, and they were amazing company as well as wonderful hosts. A lovely first taste of New Zealand hospitality. I’ll visit again next time I’m in the South Pacific.
