Sea Esta Lodge & Chalet

Sea esta lodge worked well for our annual family get-together before Christmas. There were 16 of us, from a one-year-old to a 50-year-old, and we had all the space and basics we needed. The modern kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cutlery, there was plenty of outdoor space and parking, and four bathrooms had showers. The bedrooms had linen. The decor was a bit tired, but that didn't bother us. Waihi beach, with its lovely scenery, was just a five-minute trip away.

We stayed in the chalet with eight friends and had such a good time. It’s a great little space, with a kitchen, an outdoor area and lots of parking. The beach is a quick walk across the road, and downtown is easy to reach on foot. There are new owners, and the place is awesome. We’ll definitely be back. We're already trying to think of an occasion to bring a bigger group and stay in one of the larger houses.

We had a church camp at Sea Esta, and the owners were great and very accommodating. We’d stayed here back when it was known as Waihi Beach Camp, and it’s changed so much since then. Everything feels full of colour and life now, and it’s so clean. You can see how much care is going into the place. The lodge and chalet suit small groups well, the price was decent, and it’s not far from the beach. Would recommend 👌

Seaesta made our family's Christmas in 2023 feel like a home away from home. The hosts were welcoming, and the accommodation went beyond what we expected. It can suit a big crowd or a small one, and the setup was perfect for the kids. We’d definitely recommend Seaesta Waihi Beach.
