Waitomo Top 10 Holiday Park

We stayed four nights in a deluxe cabin and had a great time. The location was perfect, and the price very reasonable. The kitchen, BBQ area, toilets, showers and pool were all clean and kept to a high standard. Staff went above and beyond. 10/10, we'd happily come back ❤️

The kids especially loved the warm pool, and the location made this an easy place to return to. We enjoyed our stays so much that we came twice in one month. It's just a five-minute walk to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, and the facilities are well maintained. A couple of small drawbacks: the bunk bed looked worn, and some stove burners didn't work properly. We still had a great time.

The grounds were immaculate, with a stunning view across the paddocks to the bush. The pool, nearby spa pool and playground were great extras, and the children loved feeding the goats in the next paddock. We also did the 1 and 1/2 hour bushwalk up the hill for views back over Waitomo. It's a challenging walk, but a family with three young children had an amazing time. The amenities were very clean and tidy. The receptionist signed us in when we arrived early, just as she was heading to lunch, without any fuss. My sentimental watch had been left by the pool and Danielle the receptionist found it and handed it in after I left. Thank you so much, I thought it was gone for good! Hubby thought the Wi-Fi was a bit in and out, though it might have been his phone, lol.

A brilliant, handy spot for a family, with a queen bed in the lounge area and bunk beds in a separate room. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent. The kitchenette had modern, quality equipment and a fridge with a good-sized freezer. Even a plunger coffee, and the TV had all the apps. Great accommodation.
