This is the normal world. We had to haul our luggage up eight flights of stairs because there was no elevator, then cross the street to the accommodation. I asked the hotel if we could drop our bags in front, and was told there was nowhere to do that. There actually was a spot at the hotel. Carrying the suitcases down eight flights was quite a workout, good for bone density.

The hotel is quiet, and the rooms have everything you need, plus fresh air. There’s a fantastic food court across the road. Great location.

There’s no on-site parking, but Wilson parking is right across the road. The apartment isn’t serviced, though it has everything you need to look after yourself. Great location and price.

The bed was comfortable, check-in was easy and the service friendly. The location is good, though the rooms feel a bit dated. The pamphlet on the bed had stains on the back, the fans looked like they hadn’t been dusted in years, and there’s no air con.

Great service, and the parking building across the road worked perfectly. Arborist Bar below the hotel is awesome, too. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, though the bathroom was small, presumably to fit the washing machine. Watch your toes on the doorstop. It was hot with no AC, but the large sliding door, partly barriered off, helped.
