We couldn't get to Moana Lodge because the ferry was cancelled. Danny, the manager, was understanding and helped work out an arrangement for our cancellation. Communication was friendly and really good. If we make it to the Wellington area eventually, we'll absolutely book here again.

I had a great time in the dorm room. The facilities were great, and everything was super clean and well looked after. It's in an amazing spot, right across the road from a beautiful beach. The owner was really nice and accommodating, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed two nights with the kids and really didn't want to check out. The views were amazing, right on the beach, with a walk, cafes, and the train station nearby. If you've got a car, there are endless places to explore. It's the best place I've stayed in NZ so far. Now that we're in the city, I'm wishing we hadn't left. Hopefully we'll return one day.

The huge communal kitchen and other shared spaces were my favorite part, with guests from all over the world and chances to spend time together. It was a perfect place to clear my mind. Staff were friendly, the room was spotless with an amazing view, the beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was strong. Great location, too.

We held our Cousins Reunion here and it was a great venue. The kitchen, dining area, and lounge were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
