This hall is fine if you can put up with cold showers every day, only one working lift at a time, and about six usable washers and dryers for the whole year.

The “WELCOME” signs on the front doors don’t match at all. Someone nearly killed my friend with a banana, and I almost got lost picking my way through the mountains of rubbish on the front sidewalk. They say, 'Party hard, study hard.' Maybe it should be, “Party for ten weeks then cram for exams.”

For a little more than a hostel, you get a room of your own. It’s very clean, with coffee available all day. You could stay for a month while living in Wellington and exploring.
