Quest 256 Lambton

The service was outstanding, easily a 6/5 if that were possible. We got to Welly around 11am and only needed a place to park until our room was ready, but they let us park early and the room was ready too, so we checked in straight away. The room had plenty of space, was clean and tidy, and even had a mini kitchen. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Welly.

The staff were a real help when we accidentally locked ourselves out, and they also made our late check-in easy. The only small drawback was that the room door didn’t have a deadbolt. Quest 256 Wellington was spotless and felt secure, with locked lift access. Its location made it easy to get around and pick up essentials, with the cable car, Woolworths, and a chemist all close by. I’d absolutely stay here again when I’m back in Wellington.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, spacious, and close to the attractions. Before we arrived, staff messaged to check how we wanted the room set up, including an extra rollaway bed for our child. They also had it ready when we turned up for an early check-in. After staying at other Quest properties around New Zealand, this was a breath of fresh air. I understand why it’s so highly rated, and would come back without hesitation.

The location is superb, just a stone’s throw from Wellington Cable Car station, with Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, eateries, a bus stop, and fashion shops nearby. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the clean unit had everything we needed for a comfortable three-night stay. It’s compact, but feels like a comfortable little studio, with a full kitchen, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a selection of drinks. The bed was comfortable after a long day out, and the bathroom was well equipped. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a first for me. We booked after reading all the good reviews, and the place certainly met our needs. I’d happily recommend it to visitors who want somewhere comfortable and convenient.
