Right in the middle of everything, with loads of good bars and restaurants nearby. We loved this boutique hotel. Our room was on the small side, but cozy and beautifully renovated, and the shower products were great. I’d definitely recommend it.

The apartment was huge and comfortable, right in the CBD with cafes and great restaurants just downstairs. Netflix cast easily from my phone to the TV, and the shower warmed up quickly. There’s a heated towel rail too, which was lovely on a cool morning. Check-in and check-out were both simple to do ourselves. We only stayed a night, but I’d definitely come back for longer. Really happy with the place.

We had breakfast and coffee at Eva's Garage downstairs, and they also looked after our bags between checkout and our trip to the airport. The entrance is down a narrow lane and easy to miss if you approach from one direction. The place is modern and cool, in a repurposed factory building just a block from Cuba Street. It put us right in Welly's lively part of town, and everything we wanted to do was an easy walk.

Mady and Jarrod were really accommodating and let us check out a little later, even during the busy holiday period. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the location puts you close to restaurants, shops, and museums, all walkable from the front door. Mady, Jarrod, and the rest of the staff made our stay wonderful. It felt like a little paradise in central Wellington.

The room was freezing with the AC running constantly, but turning it off let the restaurant smell drift in, apparently because the restaurant downstairs lacks the right industrial extractor fan. It's tiny as well. I could hear other rooms showering, and I wasn't sure about the hygiene. The wine glasses had lip marks, so I washed everything before using it. After showering I picked up a robe and found yellow stains around the neck. Gross. There was also a huge crack below our window, which was unsettling. See the photo. I'd avoid this place, there must be better options.
