The birds were a real highlight for my wife. She spent most days looking for Weka, and there were plenty around, with many not especially shy. My son loved the playground, and I showed my wife how to play chess in the games room during the week. We stayed in four different rooms with our family, and each was well kept and had what we needed. The bathrooms were bright and colorful, and the kitchen and grounds were tidy. Facilities and service were both excellent. We finished our month-long South Island tour in Westport, after staying at about 12 places, and this was easily our favorite holiday park. We meant to try the mini golf but never got around to it, maybe next time 💯.

We stopped here for one night on our way south and slept really well. It was quiet and comfortable, and the rooms were great. The bathroom was a fully tiled wet room, with a folding bench in the shower.

Great value, and it's pet friendly too. The facilities were clean, bright, and colorful, with lots of birds around the forest setting. We stayed in one of the cute A-frame cottages. Such a lovely place, highly recommended.

A really relaxed place to stop and recharge while bicycle touring or packing. There’s plenty of room to camp for 24 NZD a night, plus a lounge where you can chill and charge your stuff. The kitchen is well equipped, and there’s an outdoor area too. Showers cost 2 dollars for 8 minutes.

It’s a quiet spot just outside town, with easy access when you want to head in. We stayed in a deluxe chalet, which was very comfortable. It had a large king bed, a single bed, a good-sized table for two, a well-equipped kitchen, and a big shower room. There’s mini golf for kids and a good BBQ area, along with an indoor lounge-style space. The park caters to caravans as well as offering a range of chalets. A good stop if you’re travelling along the West Coast road on New Zealand’s South Island.
