The location is wonderful, with great views across from the wharf and a lovely walking path. The fishing club across the road that you recommended for dinner was perfect. We booked on the day of check-in, at the last minute. A big thank you to the reception staff, Demaras and Keith, for sorting our rooms so promptly and giving us such a warm welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

The on-site cafe is a great bonus. We had a wonderful stay in the micro village, with clean, spacious accommodation and good facilities. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

It’s close to the Main Street and lovely river walks, and there’s a great Cafe. If you’re thinking of staying in Whakatane, this is the place. Very clean and friendly.

I arrived after reception had closed, but staff texted me instructions for getting my key. They were great. The room was large and very clean, with nice decor, an excellent bathroom and toiletries provided. Great all round.
