The owner communicated well, and the house has good amenities, with most of what you'd need for a fantastic family holiday. It's an immaculate three-bedroom standalone home by a reserve, a short walk from the marina. There's a private deck that gives the place a nice indoor-outdoor flow, plus a BBQ.

We loved the cottage's private location and the sunny outdoor deck overlooking a lovely big reserve. It was surprisingly spacious, with super-comfy beds and everything we needed for a very comfortable weekend, plus more. The place was well appointed and spick and span, and our host looked after us. This is Whangamata's best-kept secret, and we'll definitely be back!

I've stayed here twice now. It's a great, private three-bedroom house, clean and modern, with excellent facilities and internet. The owner is very nice and helpful, and shared lots of local information. Town is a five-minute walk away.
