We only stayed one night, but would gladly have stayed longer. Kerrie was fantastic, sharing lots about the area and suggesting things to do even though it was a quiet time of year with a bit of rain. The room was huge, the bathroom was spacious and fantastic, and we had everything we needed, including all the basics for a generous breakfast. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in the area!

The pantry-style breakfast was a pleasant change. Everything was in the apartment and replenished daily, so we could eat whenever we liked, in the apartment or out on the deck. It was very relaxing. The apartment was spacious, tidy and comfortable, and the property was well maintained. We loved the ocean views and private pool, and it was an easy walk into town along the path through the trees. There are plenty of restaurants and a great swimming beach nearby. Our friendly, accommodating hosts were happy to suggest places to eat and things to do. My wife didn’t want to leave after our four nights. We should have booked a week. I’m told we’ll stay here when we return to NZ. Oh oh, we may never leave!

Sally and Dave’s personal touches made the well-appointed rooms feel special, and we loved their warm, genuine hospitality. The property has fantastic views and feels like a little piece of paradise. A great place to get away from it all.

After visiting many places across the North and South Islands, this was the best accommodation of our whole trip. Sallie and David were delightful to meet, and the stay was five star. Amazing, and I’d definitely recommend it.
