Pipinui Motel

Rosemary was a lovely, accommodating host, and the location is quiet while keeping shops and restaurants close by. The water is only 200m away. This is one of the cleanest, best-equipped motels we've stayed in around the world, and other guests commented on how clean and lovely it was too. You certainly won't be disappointed at Pipinui Motel. Highly recommend it.

We only stayed one night, but Pipinui would be very comfortable for a longer visit. The unit is roomy, with a large bathroom, kitchenette, sofa and outdoor seating. The bed was big and comfortable, and we were grateful for the air conditioning overnight. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's an easy walk to the beach and main street. I'd definitely recommend Pipinui for a short or extended stay.

The bathroom was exceptional, and the furnishings felt top class. It's a small but well-designed room, with a drying yard out back and a nice seating spot in front beside the parking space. There were snacks and drinks for sale in the kitchen, which I thought was a good idea, though we'd brought our own. My one complaint was the kitchen equipment: for the facilities provided, key items were missing, including a drying pan and spatula that would have helped at breakfast. We were only there two days, so I didn't ask Barry, the friendly host. He might have been able to provide them if I'd asked.

Rose was a welcoming and very helpful host, even sharing ideas for places to see and things to do on our onward trip south. The motel is clean and spacious, with well-appointed rooms. A fantastic place to stay, and you won't be disappointed.
