Pacific Harbour Lodge

There’s a relaxed far north atmosphere, amazing views, and fantastic sunsets. I brought my dog and found it really easy. The motel feels fresh and clean, with a lot of care put into its update. Lisa is a fantastic host.

Very impressed with our stay. The managers were friendly, and room service was provided. The room was very clean and tidy, with fresh sheets and towels. There’s plenty of parking for a boat, plus a fish filleting bench and deep freezer for storage. Amazing views too. We’ll be back.

We towed our small boat for kingfish, so the lodge’s trailer parking was really convenient. The guest information book told us there’s a fish-cleaning table behind the garage and a chest freezer for storing fish, bait, salt ice, and so on. Very handy for a big catch. Lisa at reception was warm and kind, and we appreciated the great room service. The room unit was nicely decorated, very tidy and clean, with a small kitchen stocked with the necessary utensils. We brought plenty of cooking ingredients and were glad we did. We spent five nights here over the Matariki long weekend. We’ll come back for another fishing trip. Highly recommend!

I was impressed by how many amenities there were, both in the room and in the shared BBQ and outdoor dining areas. This is a great little motel with amazing views. The old 70s breeze-block building has been modernised nicely, and it feels pleasant and spacious.
