David was a superb host and chef, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the fresh, healthy breakfasts, the very comfortable beds, and the spacious rooms with their wonderful view. The hot tub was fantastic too. Thank you for a lovely stay at Bayview Valley Lodge.

The Lodge is beautifully styled, with pretty gardens and amazing views. It feels peaceful and tranquil, and is wonderfully appointed. We had a lovely two-night stay, and David couldn't have been more welcoming or attentive to our comfort. He also gave us helpful suggestions for making the most of our visit.

The view was stunning, and the hosts were friendly and hospitable. Our bedroom, lounge, and bathroom were all spacious and immaculately clean. We felt very special during our stay. One of the best places we stayed in New Zealand, highly recommended!

We spent our anniversary at the lodge, and it exceeded our expectations, especially in its hospitality. Set high on a hillside away from town, it's a quiet, peaceful remote oasis. Wake up to what may be the best view in Whitianga. Magnificent.

The terrace setting and the care in the details made our weekend especially relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit salad, homemade granola, and David's fresh baked bread. Bayview Valley Lodge really does feel a step above the others.
