Sue & Harvey have such a peaceful, beautiful place. They made us feel welcome and right at home. It's a lovely spot to relax and rewind while enjoying the scenery. I'd absolutely recommend staying here!

They put out the national flag for each guest when they arrive, a lovely touch. We lost our towels along the way, and the friendly, helpful hosts lent us some for the nearby beaches. The view over Mercury Bay was wonderful, and the place was so peaceful. If we're ever back in NZ, we'll definitely stay with you again. Many thanks, Julia and Richard from Dresden, Germany.

We come to Whitianga every year, and Ohuka homestay is our favourite place to stay. Harvey and Sue are amazing hosts, and the views are to die for. The rooms are immaculate, and we love that breakfast is included. We absolutely love it here and can't recommend Ohuka enough. Don't bother looking elsewhere.

The room was just right for us, and the people were chatty and nice. It's a little way up the hill, but you get a view. This morning some quail walked through the grass with their little ones, so cute.
