Waters Edge B&B

Heather and Don made us feel like royalty during our two-day stay. Their beautifully presented property is impeccably maintained, and the gourmet, restaurant-quality breakfasts were excellent. Warm hospitality made it feel personal and memorable. It’ll be very hard to find a better place to stay in Whitianga.

Breakfast was unforgettable, and the bay views made the setting just as lovely. Don & Heather greeted us so warmly, then struck a nice balance between being available with recommendations and giving us privacy. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and ours had everything we could need. They’ve made a really special place in Whitianga. If you’re unsure about staying at a B&B, I’d say give it a try. We had a memorable time.

I only wish we’d booked earlier so we could have stayed longer. Waters Edge B&B Whitianga made our anniversary getaway, and we’re already keen to return, even if we spent the whole visit there. Don & Heather are a brilliant pair of hosts, and the house is full of lovely details that show their artistic touch. It’s tucked beside some of the best views in Whitianga, and the photos really don’t capture how beautiful the place is.

After our long flight from the US, we felt looked after and completely relaxed during our first night in New Zealand. Heather and Don were warm, attentive hosts, and the thoughtful extras included a bottle of wine. Breakfast was delicious and looked gorgeous, too. The bay views are lovely, and there are plenty of places to walk to for dinner. Thanks for such a nice stay.
