We were blown away by this stay and would love to come back for longer. The villa was breathtaking, with desert views, a private pool, and thoughtful design that really made us say wow. For the price, the value was hard to beat. We were the only guests, and our host made a campfire just for us, shared stories about Oman and the beduins, and served omani tea. They arranged camel riding at very short notice, including a transfer and a visit to a beduin tent. Breakfast was good, especially the karak tea, and we even received a small gift at the end. Such a memorable experience!

The owner was so kind and helpful, and that’s what made this place special for us. We only stayed one night, but the Presidential Suite was stunning, with every detail beautifully put together. In the evening, they lit a bonfire among the dunes behind the property. Everyone gathered there for traditional Omani tea, a magical moment together under an unforgettable starry sky.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Alsaif Camp Bidiyah, and the dune bashing was a highlight. For 25 OMR, they took us in a Land Cruiser up to the dunes for the desert views. The accommodation was comfortable, with two rooms, two washrooms, and a spacious TV lounge with internet TV. Facilities included a microwave, fridge, swimming pool, outdoor shower, sitting area, BBQ area, and stove. We visited in summer when daytime temperatures were around 48°C. The water gets hot during the day because of the weather, and I’d suggest a bigger AC unit in the TV lounge for more effective cooling.

You can get here without a 4x4, and the desert location is easy to reach. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the food is delicious. We loved winding down by the fire in the evening and hearing interesting facts about Oman. There are activities like camel riding and dune bashing too, and dune bashing is a must-do. Highly recommended.

The peaceful desert setting at Alsaif Camp made our stay feel special. Everything was clean and well looked after, and the rooms were clean too. Staff were friendly and made us comfortable. Breakfast was great, and dinner was fresh and tasty, served with warm hospitality. I really enjoyed my time here, with good food and a lovely desert experience. Highly recommended!
