Buraimi Hotel

I’ve been trying for a month and a half to get a receipt for the days I stayed, and I urgently need someone from the hotel to contact me. Please respond to my review with a working phone number. Fix your phone, please. Hotels need a working number so people can reach them directly. Thank you!

The lobby was nice, and the room balconies are a plus. Staff were welcoming, the price was fine, and there are shops nearby. I stayed in a standard room but didn’t try the standalone chalets. The hotel looks old, and some neglected areas could use renovation, including the rooms, toilets, garden, swimming pool and waterfall, and gym. The room’s wall color might matter to some people, so ask first if you don’t like colors such as blue, whether light, medium, or dark. The room and toilet had only weak white lighting. Water pressure at the toilet basin was very weak, and the showerhead pressure was inconsistent. They accepted cash for direct rental but didn’t offer credit card payment. Parking was available, though the ground was rocky and needed surfacing. The bumps at the vehicle entrance and exit were uncomfortable to drive over.

Al Buraimi is a nice oasis town, and it costs much less than neighboring Al Ain. Oman is a great country to visit, with nice shops and restaurants nearby. This hotel is inexpensive, though the room felt a bit dated. They need more business.

I stayed for ten days, and they never changed my bedsheets or pillowcases, even when I asked housekeeping. They just ignored me, although they can understand English. The hotel has a big problem with management and should be closed for hospitality procedures. They need to train the staff properly, because guests are paying them.
