I asked reception at 12:00PM if I could check out late, and they said no. I then offered to pay for half a day, which got me until 4 PM. I thought that settled it, but the receptionist still insisted I pay the amount due right away instead of waiting until checkout. The service felt very poor and fell short of basic hotel standards and the Omani culture of hospitality. I wouldn't recommend staying here because of how guests are treated.

Having a mall connected to the hotel is handy, with a supermarket and some places to eat close by. The clean, comfortable room and friendly staff made this a good overnight stop on the way between Oman and the UAE or KSA, not far from either border. I didn't sample the buffet breakfast. I did try the chicken biryani at RIMI restaurant, which was average, and the menu was limited overall. Good value for a moderate price.

The rooms are a real plus: spacious, consistently clean, and modern. The hotel also connects directly to the local mall, which made it easy to get what I needed without going far. I've found the staff pleasant and helpful since arriving, and when I needed to extend my stay despite the hotel being fully booked, management, especially Fareed, made the process smooth and accommodating. I haven't tried the restaurant because I've been having meals with family, though it looked busy, particularly during Eid, and seems popular. My experience at Ayla Ibri Hotel has been excellent, and I'll book here again when I need somewhere in Ibri. I highly recommend it.

The food was amazing, and Chef Karan Thapa was so welcoming. The staff were very kind too. Great hotel, highly recommended.
