The dorm listing said six beds, but I was put in a crowded room with 10 beds, nearly twice as many. The bunks creak and sit right next to each other, so movement in one of the adjacent beds shakes a cluster of four. Quiet hours clearly aren’t enforced. At 1:25 a.m. I woke to a commotion when someone allegedly couldn’t find something and switched on all the lights to search. Then at 5:50 a.m. that same day, the same person turned the lights on again to pack. That’s false advertising.

Arabian Hostel has a very social feel, and it’s easy to make friends there. The rooms are clean, and there’s a female-only dorm with its own bathroom. The guys were so welcoming, and they offer a great range of tours too. I’d happily go back. Thank you, Kaab, Muhammed and friends 😊

If I come to musqat again, this will definitely be my go-to place. It’s cozy, the rooms get cleaned daily, and the staff are helpful. It’s close to the beach and the Sultan mosque, and not far from the airport either. Special thanks to Muhammad for taking us to the beach and cooking food for us :D I took the photo right before leaving, so I was in a hurry (⁠─⁠.⁠─⁠|⁠|⁠）

The hostel felt like a home away from home, with a social but relaxed atmosphere and a lovely mix of people from around the world. The lounge was cozy, the kitchen well equipped, and the shared spaces had a great vibe, whether you wanted to meet travelers or unwind after exploring. My bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the place was clean and well organized. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and welcome. Check-in was smooth, and they shared lots of useful local tips. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, it’s a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you guys for being so nice to us throughout the stay and making us feel safe ❤️❤️❤️

I had a great stay at Arabin Hostel. It’s cozy and welcoming, especially for solo travelers and backpackers. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and were always happy to help with local tips or directions.
