Safeer Hotel Suites

My mother and I both got food poisoning during our stay, which lasted from November 22 to 29, 2025. The breakfast was poor, and there was rotten food in the fridge when we arrived. The room hadn't been cleaned before our arrival and wasn't cleaned during the week. We also had a kitchen drain problem and a leak in the washing machine. The furniture was in bad shape, the internet was slow, and the staff's behavior wasn't proper. This hotel was bad in every respect.

The location made getting to shopping malls and other attractions easy, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. At Hotel Safeer Suites in Muscat, the spacious, well-maintained rooms felt like good value for the money. It's a practical, budget-friendly choice in a prime spot.

Good value for money and a great strategic location. Maintenance could be better, but with a little attention this place could be wow.

The hotel is affordable and sits near plenty of shops, restaurants, and offices, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. I spent two nights there. Check-in was bumpy because the receptionist had trouble finding my booking, and the room only had basic amenities. The bathroom was clean, though there was no curtain over the bath, so shower water ended up all over the room. The towels had stains and were uncomfortable to use. I recommend bringing your own, since a replacement could take up to an hour after calling. The interior and furniture feel like they're from the 80s or 90s, possibly the original furnishings from when the hotel opened.
