Blue Sky Hotel

The rooms are nice and the hotel is peaceful. The staff are cooperative.

I’d stayed at several Muscat hotels during a visit a month earlier, and after being disturbed at Miraj hotel nearby, I decided to try this one. Honestly, for its price range, it was better than I expected. It cost more than OR 10/day, and there was a lively bar on the 11th floor. Restaurants serving Turkish, Saudi, Indian, Pakistani, and Bengali food were within walking distance too. The practical details were good as well: the Wi-Fi worked strongly in every room, reception was available 24 hours, and the room had fresh sheets and towels, quality amenities, and a very clean feel. The bed, mattress, and furniture gave it a five-star feel. Shabaz was especially polite and helpful, and the other staff were cooperative too.

The atmosphere was good, and so was the staff.

The room wasn’t clean, and management and maintenance both need a lot of work. The staff were disrespectful and didn’t know how to deal with customers. Very bad service. I wouldn’t recommend trying this place, even for an hour.
