DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha

The setting is amazing, especially if you enjoy nature views, and the breakfast was very good. Den at reception and Mohammed, the concierge, were so welcoming and supportive, helping us with all our questions. It was a lovely experience, thank you for the hospitality. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We hope to come back. It was a great fit for our family with young kids, and we loved the calm, beautiful beach, the location, and all the facilities. The restaurants we tried served excellent food, and the cocktails at Assira pool bar were great. Thanks especially to the Bait Al Bahr restaurant team and Princess for making our last evening so memorable. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout.

The seafood restaurant was a highlight, and Princess was such a kind, friendly waitress. Her service made the meal even more enjoyable. The hotel has a lovely view and a calm, pleasant atmosphere that’s good for unwinding. Staff were welcoming and professional from the moment I arrived, and service stayed excellent throughout. I had a wonderful visit and would gladly return.

The kids had a blast on the big lazy river and slides, and there’s plenty to see within a few hours’ drive. Muscat’s main sights are about 20 minutes away. We spent most of our time outside, and the facilities made up for the rooms, which are comfortable and perfectly clean but tired and due for renovation. The hotel itself is older, though well maintained. Staff were consistently friendly and professional, including the breakfast team, Kipkorir in housekeeping, and the pool bar staff. The place is beautiful for a family holiday. We had dinner at the nextdoor Hilton, which was just so-so, too stiff and overpriced for my taste. Still, highly recommend.
