Grand Millennium Muscat Hotel

The room service staff were courteous, efficient, and professional, and breakfast was good. That was about all I could praise. At £140 for one night, this was extremely poor value, and I was glad I only stayed once. I had a noticeably better three-night stay at Ibis Muscat for less money. The rooms felt old, especially the bathroom. The carpets looked dirty and the curtains were visibly soiled, which made me question the overall cleanliness. When I called reception for drinking water, they disconnected me three times. Outside noise was loud enough to make sleep very difficult, and the views were disappointing, either an IKEA store or blank mall walls. Anyone expecting luxury or a restful stay will be let down. This hotel falls well below five-star standards, especially with better accommodation available nearby. It needs a major refurbishment, and reception staff need serious retraining. A good breakfast is the least expected at a hotel claiming five stars and doesn’t make up for the rest.

The restaurant team made our dining experiences delightful, especially FATIHA. She was incredibly kind, had such warm energy, and was amazing with us. Thanks to her and the Grand Millennium team for looking after us so well. We had a wonderful stay, with great hospitality and comfort throughout. It was a memorable visit, and we’ll be back soon. Highly recommended!

The staff were kind, cooperative, and supportive during my three-night stay at Millennium Hotel Muscat last week. The location is especially convenient, close to Al Khuwair and Oman Avenue Mall, with direct access to Grand Mall for shopping and dining. My room had plenty of space, a comfortable bed, room to open luggage, and nice natural light. Facilities were well kept, the gym was good, and the pool was clean and enjoyable. Basement parking had plenty of spaces at any time of day. Breakfast had a good selection of breads, eggs, Indian and Arabic food. A couple of things took too long: valet service could be slow during busy periods, and housekeeping response times could improve. Dinner also had almost no vegetarian choices beyond salads and fruit, with most dishes being non-vegetarian. Still, it was a comfortable hotel with good facilities and service.

Ahmed Ashfaq, the General Manager, deserves special recognition. His leadership shows in the smooth operation and consistently high service across the hotel. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with real care and a welcoming smile. Meals were delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented, with plenty of variety. The elegant, peaceful atmosphere and well-kept spaces made the hotel feel both luxurious and comfortable for relaxation or business. From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail was clear. Grand Millennium Hotel Muscat exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely return. I highly recommend it for comfort, luxury, and attentive service.
