Everything feels spacious, from the lobby and rooms to the outdoor areas, and the property is very clean and well maintained. It made for a relaxing atmosphere. The facilities are wonderful, especially the two swimming pools, landscaped gardens, restaurant, and spa, and the service was excellent. A couple of small timing changes would help: I wish breakfast began before 6:30 AM, and it would be great if the spa opened earlier than 12:00 PM. Cars can also crowd the entrance at times. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

The bed was the only rough spot at first. I mentioned the discomfort to the front desk, and Ms. Jessel Joy Tan, the Duty Manager, calmly offered another room with an upgrade. I stayed put and asked only for the bed to be refreshed, which was done right away. After that, I slept peacefully every night. The team checked in each day to see how things were going, and I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, extra room cleaning, and chocolates left for me daily. Those small gestures made me feel looked after. Before coming to Oman, I’d heard hotel service could be uneven, so the care at JW Marriott Muscat really changed that impression. Everyone made me feel welcome from arrival, and thanks to Ms. Jessel Joy Tan and the team, the vacation was wonderfully relaxing. I’d gladly return to Oman and recommend JW Marriott Hotel Muscat. The management should be proud to have such a caring professional on the team.

The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the hotel has a spa, hair salon, and a kids’ entertainment room. Our 5-year-old was greeted with balloons and toys, which made the family welcome feel especially thoughtful. Breakfast changed each day, so there was something fresh to enjoy, and even the body cleanser, shampoo, and conditioner smelled refreshing. Lots of little details have clearly been considered here.

The Salt restaurant was great about my sister’s dietary needs, and both the chef and our waiter were wonderful. We had our first stay at the Marriott and everyone served us with a smile, which made it memorable. It’s a bit away from the centre, though our room and pool views were amazing. I’d come back and recommend it to friends and family. The leadership has clearly trained the staff well.

Breakfast had a huge selection, even coconuts, and the buffet dinner was very tasty. The lounge stays open 24/7, with cookies, nuts, and soft drinks available during the day. It’s a lovely spot to unwind and take in the Omani landscape, with a great pool, gym, and a small area for walks. Thanks to Mr. Sanjay at reception for making the stay so nice and memorable.
