The staff were really kind and moved us to a larger room with its own heater after we couldn’t shower. With the central heater, the water was boiling hot. It’s a good deal for the price, though the hotel is a bit run down.

The room we got was tiny, not properly cleaned, and not worthy of being called a suite. Housekeeping didn’t do a good job during our stay, service was slow, and the hallways smelled bad. This place needs better cleanliness and basic customer service, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Management should contact me about the receptionist’s conduct. I’d called three times at different hours to book directly and confirm the reservation. Each time, the receptionist said it was secured, and we agreed on 54 Omani Riyals for three nights. Nobody said payment had to be made in advance. We came all the way from Bahrain and had told reception we’d arrive late. When we got there, that same receptionist wouldn’t let us in and claimed there was no booking. He raised his voice and accused us of not paying, despite never mentioning advance payment on the calls. After a long argument late at night, with no other options, he offered a “suite” for 66 OMR. He wouldn’t show us the price on the system screen, but we reluctantly accepted.

The staff were nice, but the heater situation was unlike anything I’ve seen. The hotel only had very hot water. My room was tiny, there were no clothes hangers in the bathroom, and even though I left from 11 am until 4 pm, it still hadn’t been cleaned. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was worn out and broken, and the toilet heater didn’t work. I asked to switch rooms after extending my stay because of special circumstances. One employee said yes, but when I came back, a different employee refused. Then I found my original room open, and when I told him, he called me a liar. The staff don’t follow the same rules, so everyone tells you something different, and the treatment was poor.
