Platinum Hotel

From 11/12 to 24/12/25, a friend and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel feels warm and welcoming, is family-friendly, and offers excellent value for money. Its location was perfect, and the staff took great care of us, always friendly and attentive. A big thank you to everyone on the breakfast team for the kind, cheerful hospitality, especially Rajkumar and Schola ❤️ I highly recommend this hotel!

I really like the hotel, but the housekeeping could use more training on cleaning and arranging rooms. My bed had been rearranged, and bathroom items I’d set out neatly were moved, with some knocked over. It made me a bit uncomfortable. Improving this would make an already nice stay even better.

The breakfast was so good, with something new and delicious each day. I especially loved the Aloo puri and hummus. The hotel is in a prime area, close to several pickup points, and the spacious rooms are easily the best part, even if the views aren’t great. Manager Adnam Ishaq was wonderful throughout our trip, very hospitable, and quick to resolve our queries. The cleaning team was the one letdown. Even after asking several times, we had to request two towels and a body wash refill every day. They should have been more attentive and careful with those basics. Besides that, the hotel offers great value!

We came back to Platinium Hotel because we couldn’t find the same warm, family-like welcome elsewhere. I first booked four nights, then planned to try other hotels. I cancelled twice on site at places that supposedly had more stars, since the value for money didn’t seem worth it. In the end, I stayed at Platinium Hotel for two weeks. The staff are incredibly attentive. The location is a big reason we didn’t rent a car. The hotel is on a street overlooking Souq Al Khuwair and Maha Street, with lots of restaurants. The beach is a 15-minute walk, Grand Mall and Avenue Mall are 25 minutes on foot, and the Grand Mosque is 45 minutes away walking. We went everywhere on foot. Muttrah Souq and Qurum are only 15 minutes away by taxi. Breakfast isn’t very varied, but we appreciated the service. Rajkumar and Schola from the breakfast team, along with others, were exceptional, professional, attentive to detail, and always smiling. I’ll definitely return and recommend the hotel to friends and colleagues. Thank you for being there for us!
