The Secure Inn Hotel

The music went on until 3am and was far too loud. The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke and damp, the windows wouldn’t open, and it felt like being locked in a prison cell. My little ones’ asthma flared up. There was damp everywhere, with wet walls and desk, so I asked to change rooms as soon as we arrived. The TV didn’t work, and the room one floor below had the same problems. I hardly slept. In the morning I went down to complain, but the receptionist wasn’t understanding. I walked out and booked myself into the crown plaza Hotel. The secure inn hasn’t refunded me, so I’ll take this further. I’d booked four nights and didn’t even last one. This hotel should be shut down, and the staff need a wakeup call.

The new room was just as loud as the first, so changing rooms late at night didn’t help and only added to the frustration. We couldn’t get to sleep until after 3 a.m. because people were partying, giggling, and laughing loudly all night. The hotel was unbelievably noisy. We also had no advance warning about a party, DJ, or loud music from the lounge. If we’d known, we wouldn’t have booked. Cigarette smoke hung strongly in both the room and hallways, making the stay even more unpleasant. This was one of my worst hotel experiences. If you care about sleep, quiet, or basic comfort, don’t stay here. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I really appreciated the help and support Uday and Kshitij gave us at reception throughout our stay. It was a great experience.

The room smelled strongly of smoke and hadn’t been cleaned properly. At night, late DJ parties and a lack of soundproofing made sleep nearly impossible. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families with kids.
