Weekdays Hotel

The location was the main reason we stayed: the mosque, shops, restaurants, Indian restaurants, a Spar grocery, and a pharmacy are all within walking distance. The apartment was also much more spacious than other hotels nearby. We stayed three nights, but nobody cleaned the room during that time. They don’t provide breakfast, and the water bottles are only supplied at check-in unless you ask for more. The room isn’t cleaned until checkout. Some staff were not very hospitable. At reception, one person gave very short answers, usually just “no” or “we don’t have.” When we asked the day before leaving about paying for a late checkout, he simply said no. We asked another staff member the next day, who apologized and explained why it wasn’t possible, but still offered an extra hour and a luggage room after checkout. The rooms look very old and dated. It feels like management doesn’t want to invest anything, only take. We stayed because of the location and because the nicer nearby hotel where we’d stayed before was fully booked. Given the chance, we wouldn’t stay again.
