Savoy Inn Hotel

The room and washroom hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained, and nearby construction made so much noise that it affected our comfort and rest. When I asked to move, I was told there were no other rooms. The staff’s attitude and service felt highly unprofessional, and the hygiene and room quality were below acceptable standards. It wasn’t worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I arrived early in the morning for a one-day stay and asked about checking in early. The receptionist said the usual check-in was at 14:00 and that I’d need to pay 5 OMR, which I accepted as hotel policy. But when I asked about checkout, I was told I had to leave at the same time the next day as my early check-in. That didn’t seem reasonable after paying extra. When I raised it, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional, saying no free rooms were available and I’d have to wait until 14:00 if I didn’t want to pay. The alternative offered was to pay nothing for early check-in but leave the same day at 6 PM.
