The price felt right for us, and there are shopping places very close by. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean, neat and spacious. We loved the place and the service. It’s also great for families who want to bring or cook their own food.

A clean, good room at a reasonable price compared with similar hotels.

This may be your best stay, or at least the most interesting one. It’s a quirky place: there’s a red carpet leading to a tank with a catfish shark, and chandeliers in the hallway, while the room paint is peeling. The kitchenette has no hotplate or kettle, and the breakfast makes it seem like Mr. Bean is running the kitchen. Try for a room with a front view (see photo #1), since the back rooms look onto a neighbor’s kitchenette. And skip the restaurants if you like, there’s an Omani businessman across the street grilling meat kababs on a huge grill. Follow the smoke and great smell.

It felt warm, cozy and welcoming, and I finally got a good night's sleep after a long time. The breakfast came piping hot and tasted really good too.

It’s a budget place, but the hotel isn’t very good. The rooms are large and the bed is fine. There’s no restaurant service, and the Wi-Fi is very poor.
