The photos may show the property at its very best, but they don’t match what it’s actually like. There were problems with breakfast, the air-conditioning, water temperature and pressure, and a smell in the room. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a quiet place for a calm stay, so don’t expect events or activities on site. We enjoyed the resort, especially the welcoming staff and the outdoor seating by the lake. Getting there takes some guidance, like using a navigation app. Breakfast for rooms that include it comes as a set selection rather than a buffet, and the windows had no nets, so flies or mosquitoes could get in. I haven’t tried the chalets with private pools. It felt reassuring for couples, and I’d still say it’s worth a visit.

We were upgraded to a luxury suite during our three-night stay at Coastline Resort Al Musannah, which was a lovely surprise. The spacious room had a bathtub and private pool, and complimentary Netflix was included. The place was clean, the location and food were good, and the two receptionists and Mr. Saeed gave us outstanding service. The stay was memorable. Highly recommended!

For our honeymoon we spent five nights in a king suite. The villa was lovely and relaxing, with a pool, and breakfast came through room service. A great fit if you want a peaceful escape.

The King Suite With A Private swimming pool was gorgeous, and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Coastline Resort. I’d suggest staying at least three nights, since one night just wouldn’t be enough. Thanks to all the resort staff.
