Green Oasis Hotel

My wife spent 8 days in Institutional Quarantine here, and it was a terrible experience. She said the room still smelled bad even after the renovation. The doors were defective, with the double lock not working, and someone opened her door in the middle of the night at 11:36pm. It was horrifying. She also found it very hard to complain because NO ONE CAN SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. I was advised they had renovated and had new management, so I booked it as one of the hotels listed by Government for quarantine. At 20 OMR per night, it wasn't worth it and wasn't what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel. I hope they use customer feedback to improve their service.

The place was a mess. The bedsheets and pool were dirty, the bathroom smell was unbearable, and the Wifi wouldn’t connect. Neither the telephone worked nor did the office boy and management treat us with respect. Both were extremely rude. Overall, a very bad experience.

The swimming pool and the dimmed lights at night are a big part of the appeal, especially at an economy price. If you want somewhere to spend time with family, this is a perfect place. It's very close to Sohar Hospital - Ministry of Health, so it could also suit service engineers, sales representatives, or patient attendees. Loved it!!💗

I don't see why they charge that much when hardly anything was good. Sand was all over the place, including the pool. The air-conditioners are window type with no frames, so insects could get into the room. I gave it 2 stars because I slept well, and that's it. Not a good place to stay on holiday.
