Casa Azul Bed & Breakfast

We only stopped for one night, but the staff looked after us as if we were staying much longer. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and even the attic shower worked better than showers in many hotels. The house has a lovely garden, and breakfast was served on the back porch. It's quiet here, a block from the main street and about a five-minute walk from it. Our host shared some good suggestions and arranged a private visit to Don Pepe Estate, one of the coffee farms.

We spent two weeks in Panama, and this was our favorite place to stay. The garden was a great spot to unwind, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was yummy, the WiFi worked well, and the hosts were super nice and had useful hiking tips. Totally recommended!

I stayed in the cozy attic room for two or three nights, which was comfortable for one or two people. When my plans to go to Bocas Del Toro fell through, the owner offered me the separate bungalow behind the main place. It had three rooms, including a kitchen, and lots of space. She also arranged a fun coffee plantation tour for me. Nearly a year later, I still meant to write this review. The owners, both rooms I stayed in, and the location were all wonderful. I look back fondly on a really lovely vacation here and highly recommend it.

The location is perfect, and the place feels comfortable and homey. The mother and daughter who host it are even more charming than the B&B itself. Katy went out of her way to make sure we had all the information we needed about restaurants and local tours.
