Hotel Isla Verde

We were a group of ten in three rooms, a mix of cabins and a loft, and found the rooms clean, spacious, comfortable, and well kept. The price felt fair for the space, and local shops and town were close by. The main issue came during the two power cuts: candles were supplied, but there was no generator or emergency lighting, which would have felt more reassuring. Still, Motel Isla Verde is a good choice for families or groups wanting clean, affordable lodging in a handy spot. Backup power would make it close to perfect.

The place is quiet and peaceful, a lovely spot to relax. We appreciated the free fast WiFi and the umbrellas for rainy weather. At night each cabin lights up in a different color, which is a nice touch. We had a great stay in the yurt-style cabin with its loft, modern design, and thoughtful layout. The custom windows and screens let in plenty of air and kept us comfortable. A cozy, scenic getaway I’d recommend.

The location was scenic and central for the amenities, restaurants, and tours we wanted. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, even helping us call several taxis, and the WiFi was great. I loved the loft bed under the skylight and having a kitchenette in our cozy little yurt in the jungle. There was also a cat that might follow you and try to get inside. We had a great time and I’d definitely come back.

We stayed in January 2024, and as an older couple we found it just right. The grounds are spectacular and peaceful, though the centre of Boquete is only about a five-minute walk away. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. A coffee shop on the grounds, newly opened by a Belgian couple, was a nice surprise. An ideal place to stay in Boquete.
