The staff were courteous, helpful, and understood some English, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets, and places to eat within a short walk. My 10-day stay was quiet overnight, so I slept well every night. The centrally located hotel/hostel was clean and reasonably priced. My spacious room had a comfortable bed, effective AC, enough storage, and a walk-in shower with good pressure. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in Panama City.

The Loteria station is close by for getting around, and Casco Viejo is about a 30-minute walk. I stayed four nights and had a lovely time. The AC worked great, the bed was comfy, and I liked having the light switch by the bed. The bathroom was fine and the showers were hot. I don't know why this place gets such low ratings. I'd stay again!

For the price, it's hard to beat. Good value, a convenient location, and welcoming hospitality make it a strong pick for budget travelers. We did hear some noise, but it wasn't unreasonable.

The staff were really nice and helpful. There's a 24-hour supermarket about ten minutes away, and a coffee machine on the third floor that costs $1. Some walls have no windows, which is why the place is cheap.
