A great, fully equipped cabin tucked away from it all. The garden is full of tropical plants, and the lotus pond is beautiful in the morning. Monkeys wander past now and then, and the beach is only a few steps away, usually with just a few people around. I definitely recommend staying a few days to disconnect and enjoy the jungle feel.

I loved my time in this rustic raised cabin, and I can’t wait to return. It feels like a treehouse in the jungle, with birds and monkeys calling in the morning and a lotus pond below the deck where I had coffee. The golden sand at Bluff Beach is a short stroll away, and you can walk a long way without seeing anyone. I even got lucky and saw a sloth! The cabin is only a two minute walk from the beach, yet still feels secluded and off the grid while offering modern amenities. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, so you don’t need to bring much. A lovely private, romantic escape for couples, or a nature retreat on your own.

This place is really off grid, which makes it easier to enjoy being there. The lodge overlooks the jungle and is a short walk from stunning Bluff beach. We spotted lots of animals from the balcony over morning coffee, including monkeys, hummingbirds, parrots, and caymans. They have plenty of local tips and tours at the lodge, so getting around is easy. Great value for money, and I’d give the place and its owners a big 10+.
